The new Scientific Anglers Frequency Boost weight forward floating fly lines cast very smoothly with larger and heavier flies than we would normally use on these line sizes. This specialty taper is a great help when fishing in windy conditions. Sized 1.5 times heavy (half size heavy) for faster action fly rods. Great for wind resistant flies and those situations in which you need to cast extra weight.
This fly line does not cast heavy wind resistant flies such as popping bugs and heavy streamers (Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass flies) as well as the Scientific Anglers Frequency Magnum Fly Lines.
