Winter Solstice… The days are getting longer

I don’t like to wish time away but I always find it easier to think of fishing until 9:30 pm in July once the Winter Solstice arrives and our days start getting longer. Â As everyone in the Mid-Atlantic knows our second snowfall of the season was the most in seven years. Â I may be tap-dancing on a small limb but I think Winter arrived a few days ago! Â This snow will surely help the levels in our streams and rivers next Spring.
