Winter fishing at its finest! I have not been on the water a lot this week with the cold snap we are about to break out of. I stumbled across this picture while looking for some material to include with a recent article I wrote. BUT, with the weather forecast, that will change very quickly. I expect the fishing to improve greatly (and the ambient temperatures won’t hurt my comfort either) with the warm afternoons (high 60’s).
I find that these small windows of opportunity are quite enjoyable when surrounded by 10 degree nights and 30 degree days. As for global warming and the likes (or dislikes), I don’t know where all of this shake out or what you believe or even what I believe. I believe I will be enjoying the simple pleasures of FISHING this weekend!
