Trico Fishing Part 1

Many brown trout streams now have good trico hatches. When the brown trout lock onto the heavy part of this hatch they can be very selective and difficult to fool. One way I try to outfox these brown trout is to get to the stream and be ready to fish at the very beginning of the hatch when the duns are sparse and stay on the stream to the very tail of the hatch when the spinners are sparse. For example, if the hatch starts at 7 a.m. I get there at 6:30 a.m. If it last until 10 a.m. I stay until 11 a.m.
