The entire Shenandoah National Park is CLOSED.
From the SNP website: This is a complete closure! No hiking, no biking, no entry from the boundary.
All trails in Shenandoah are closed, including the Appalachian Trail.
Update as of 4/4/2020
1. The Shenandoah National Park has closed the Skyline Drive to motorized vehicle travel from Mile 0 (Front Royal, VA) to Mile 65.5 (Rt. 33 – Swift Run Gap). The Skyline Drive from Swift Run Gap (Rt.33 ) to Rockfish Gap (Rt. 250) remains open to vehicle traffic.
2. The Shenandoah National Park is closed to ALL access from 8pm – 7am.
Please check the Shenandoah National Park website before heading out to your favorite stream.
Please respect and abide by all of these restrictions and closures. The administration of the Shenandoah National Park does not make these decisions without great thought.
