Natural Dry Fly Drift

When fishing a dry fly if the leader is pulled only an inch below the surface it can cause the fly to drag in an unnatural way on the surface which we may not even discern. However, the trout detects this drag and refuses the fly. To prevent this dress the whole leader with silicone fly floatant about every hour when you are fishing drys.
