If you wade when you fish be willing to hike in a mile or two before you start fishing. If you float be willing to float into remote areas before you start fishing. Start fishing earlier in the season than most anglers and you may have the streams to yourself. The same applies late in the season after most anglers stop. Hit the streams in bad weather….Some of the best smallmouth fishing I’ve had has been on raining days.
