This year (2020) with some adjustments because of COVID we were still able to conduct our Fly Fishing Schools. Each spring starting in April through mid-May we conduct our On The Stream Mountain Trout Schools on native brook trout streams in the Shenandoah National Park and George Washington National Forest. These schools cover fly casting, entomology, reading the water, proper fly and gear selection. For more information and Spring 2021 dates visit our website.
In Summer 2021 from June to September, we will conduct our Smallmouth Bass Fly Fishing Schools and Half Day Fly Fishing Lessons. We adapt the fishing portion of these schools to meet the specific needs of each individual student. We cover fly casting, proper fly and gear selection, knot tying, reading the water and entomology.
