Fish the Wrong Side of the Stream

When I’m planning to fish a trout stream such as the Beaverkill or Gallitin which receive heavy angling pressure I often wade across the river and fish the opposite side of the stream from that which most angler fish. This often gives me great action, especially if I’m fishing dry flies upstream along that bank.
