On large streams you can often catch several large trout in the corner of a pool on streamers before you wade into it The gentle currents here and the abundance of minnow-life make this an ideal feeding area. However, wading into the river here will quickly scare these fish. By staying on the bank and covering this pool-corner with a dozen casts with a streamer you can often catch several large fish.
