Dry Flies in the Rain

The trout are very wary in the low streams from now to fall and we often spook those on feeding stations. However, when light to medium rain dimples the stream surface the trout are less wary and will taike your dry flies. Drift a Murray’s Flying Beetle size 16 or 18 over these trout and you’ll catch many of them.
