Charlie Brooks was a very special friend and when we fished together he always wanted me to catch big trout. His favorite way to do this was with a three nymph dropper rig. When fishing these on a floating line I often put Brook’s Dark Stonefly Nymph 4 as the bottom nymph and spaced two smaller nymphs at two to three foot intervals up the leader.
