Catching carp on a fly rod is an extra bonus for smallmouth anglers around Edinburg, Virginia. Stalking, hooking and fighting the 15 to 20 pound carp is a very gratifying game. The Shenandoah River provides many opportunities to fly fish for feeding carp.
