Better Trout Hooking

Here are four steps I use in order to improve the percentage of hooked trout when using size 22 and size 24 dry flies.
1. Open the bite of the hook slightly.
2. Bend the point of the hook ten degrees to the side.
3. Mash down the hook barb.
4. Sharpen the hook.
