Harry Murray reviews the Scott Centric Fly Rods. These fly rods are available from 4wt to 7wt and a range of lengths from 8’6″ to 10′. These fly rods provide the fastest recovery speed we have ever seen in a fly rod.
The 907/4 is an outstanding bass fly rod which easily casts poppers under overhanging trees as well as heavy #4 Madtoms into a heavy riffle with a sinking fly line. The 854/4 will handle all but the smallest trout streams like our small, high gradient mountain Brook Trout streams. The 905/4 will toss two and three fly rigs with ease while also allowing you to switch to a #16 dry fly when the hatch comes off or a #6 streamer when the wind picks up.
