Multi Fly Rig

Sure they work. When I used to fish the Madison River with the late Charlie Brooks we would often fish three flies on the leader. Not only will you learn to catch trout but you will also learn to untangle the worst twisted leaders you’ve ever see. I’d suggest fishing a two fly rig for a season before you start fishing three flies at a time. This system is also very effective for smallmouth bass when you use a Mr. Rapidan Skater with a Red Squirrel Nymph.
