Grass Helps Part 1

The aquatic grassbeds in smallmouth rivers can help our fishing in many ways. For example, I recently waded up through a deep pool to where a thick grassbed in chin-deep water stopped me. I had only a half hour of daylight left before dark so I decided to stay there and fish all of the water I could reach with my Gray Shenandoah Chuggar. By fanning my casts all around me I caught a good bass almost every second cast.
