Flashlights

When there are good hatches of white flies and hexagenia mayflies on the smallmouth rivers some of the best action comes as its getting dark. Be sure to carry a small flashlight in your vest in case you need to rework your leader or tie on another fly. This is also a big help in getting out of the river and back to your car in the dark.
