Yes, No, Maybe…. More rain, hike in, float, sinking lines, warm, cold…….. Sounds like Spring time in Virginia. Fly Fishing during this time of the year requires a bit of flexibility since all of the above circumstances can, and have already, happen within several hours of each other. So, what to do? Go Fishing…. A day you turn down fishing is one you will never make up! Good weather and poor fishing happens as often as bad weather and great fishing happens. Today for example, I had the opportunity to play on the river and though it is quite high, I caught a 15 inch Smallmouth Bass out of an eddie the size of a card table along with several smaller bass. Those fish made the day, it was a great day! Go Fish! Besides, it’s hard to get cool pictures without getting out.
