Brooks In The Round

When you are designing a new nymph reflect on the advice of past masters. My friend and tutor the late Charlie Brooks insisted that all of his nymph be tied “in the round” with no distinction between the top, bottom and sides. This way if it wobbled in the current the trout would not see it as a phony. And Brooks caught more big trout on nymphs than anyone I’ve known.
