Brook Trout fly fishing in the Shenandoah National Park

It’s that time of year! The time when cabin fever takes a severe blow to the gut; the time when small insects and warmer temperatures send the native Brook Trout on a feeding binge; a time which those of us who love chasing brookies in small streams have anticipated for ten long months.
Put your hiking boots on, get away from the crowds, stay low and try not to let a two year old six inch native outsmart you with your highly developed brain.
